_Tenney_ is a Mac Pro workstation for sound production in the rear studio.

For noise isolation purposes the machine itself (CPU) is located on the outside of the studio. This CPU is connected to two 23-inch cinema displays, as well as a keyboard and mouse, all of which are inside the studio. The machine should be turned off when not in use by choosing "Shut Down..." from the Apple menu in the top left corner of the screen:

Its external hard drives will automatically power on/off with the computer.

*Hardware*:

- Audio interfaces include the MOTU 2408 and the Digidesign Digi002 Console.
- MIDI interface is the MOTU MIDI Express 128
- There are three external firewire drives

*Monitor Use Tips*:

The left-hand-side display is on a switch and can be routed to a laptop, or to Tenney. The latter is the default and is selected by choosing setting #1 on the switch, which is located on the floor near the right-side, rear of the workstation area.

When the second display is routed to the laptop (setting #2), Tenney still thinks the display is available, so you may need to turn on display mirroring (under System Preferences>Displays) if you need to use Tenney at the same time:
