CNMAT doesn't currently use SVN branches, so everything in our SVN repository lives under the top-level directory __trunk__.

Currently (July 30, 2007) there are ten top-level directories in our repository:

- OSC: OpenSoundControl libraries, command-line utilities, and related software. (But not the OSC-related Max externals.)

- analysis: Mainly Matlab code for doing various kinds of analysis on musical signals.

- lib: libraries such as the Gnu Scientific library (not written at CNMAT) and CNMAT's ancient sound file library.

- max: Everything Max-related. This is by far the biggest category, and it's documented [cnmat:node/277|here].

- ose: The Open Sound Edit project

- personal: Individual CNMAT people's semi-private space for work in progress that isn't integrated into the rest of the repository.

- scripts: Shell scripts that are handy for working with Subversion.

- sdif: SDIF libraries, utilities, synthesizers, and file format converters. (But not the SDIF-related Max externals_

- softcast: (A portion of the) code from CNMAT's old SGI-based additive synthesizer.

- web: Code (by Andy Schmeder) for handling the automated downloads page.
